The Marquee was awash with glitter and neon for Saturday night's One Day gig which saw Gorgon City, Sonny Fodera, Route 94 and more draw massive crowds for a marathon five-hour gig.

On a busy weekend in Cork with gigs and matches, there was nowhere that could compare to Live at the Marquee.

From the first drop to the last, the tent was banging and the crowd were lapping it up.

Not even a broken leg could stop some people from dancing with a pair of crutches waving from side to side to the beat.

Patrick Lee and Wave & Odyssey got the crowd warmed up and looking for more and that's just what they got.

There was a moment of disappointment as Route 94 finished his set but this evaporated within seconds of Sonny Fodera taking centre stage.

Anyone who was still lingering outside quickly flooded in and the atmosphere reached a fever pitch.

More glitter, confetti, strobe lights and smoke canons helped to keep the crowd suitably hyped.

Sonny Fodera gave the crowd the hits that have helped to make him such a huge name on the scene and treated them to his newest release as well which was met with massive appreciation.

Gorgon City managed to take it to another level, closing out the night on a high.

They finished their set with a brand new track which marked them as one of the most creative acts right now and shows that they don't plan on going anywhere anytime soon.

As the tent pulsated to the pounding bass, the crowd never lost their energy and clearly would have been happy to stay put until the wee hours.
