THE Love Island craze is spreading to the big screen, with the Omiplex at Mahon Point set to show the series finale on Monday, July 29.

Whether you are on team Maura and Curtis or Tommy and Molly Mae, Mahon Point is expecting fans to arrive for a more up-close and personal viewing of the Love Island couples for the final moments of their time together in the Spanish villa.

The programme is ITV2’s most successful show in the channel’s history, and is screened on Virgin Media Two here. Viewing figures for the show reached a peak in the UK of 4.7 million watching on their TV box-sets.

A further 1.4 million fans saw it on their phones, PCs and tablets.

Now, the most talked-about show in TV will be screened for the first time in a cinema in Cork when punters will find out who comes away with the €50,000 jackpot and who ends up broken-hearted.

Entry is €9.10 with a large popcorn and a drink included and all audience members must be over 18.
