Farranree incident ends without injury

Gardaí have arrested a man under the Mental Health Act in the Farranree area of Cork
A garda cordon had been in place around a house this morning but the incident has ended without injury.
A spokesperson said: "Gardaí attended an incident this morning at approximately 9am in the Farranree area of Cork. A man has since been arrested under the mental health act and is currently detained at Mayfield Garda Station."
"No injuries were sustained during the incident."
