Fermoy photographer captures cunning fox in action

Much like the clever fox, Pat had to be stealthy in order to capture the phenomenal shots.

He told
:"I was walking the back road to Clondulane just outside Fermoy when I spotted the fox way down the field.
"I had to sneak about 200 metres down the field without being seen by the Fox so that I could get close enough to get a few decent shots."

Pat, who has been a wildlife photographer since 2015 managed to get some stunning snaps of the fox up close and, as luck would have it, some action shots of the fox as a dramatic chase unfolded.
To date, Pat has photographed a whole host of animals including cormorants, squirrels, otters, badgers and kingfishers.
Whilst it was Pat's lucky day to have captured the incredible images, it may or may not have been so lucky for the mouse.
We're calling this one Schrödinger's mouse!
