Arrest made following cocaine seizure in Cork city
Gardaí arrested a man in his 60s and seized approximately €11,000 worth of suspected cocaine.
A man was arrested following the search of a house in The Glen yesterday.
Gardaí arrested a man in his 60s and seized approximately €11,000 worth of suspected cocaine following a search at a house in Comeragh Park, The Glen on Thursday night.
Shortly after 8.30pm, Gardaí from the Divisional Drugs Unit in Cork city executed a search warrant at the house.
During the course of the search Gardaí seized €11,000 worth of suspected cocaine which will now be sent for analysis.
A man in his 60s was arrested at the scene and brought to Mayfield Garda Station.
He was detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 and has since been released without charge.
A fill will be prepared for the DPP.
