A MAN will appear in court this morning charged with a robbery involving a weapon.
Gardaí arrested a man in his 30s yesterday in relation a robbery that occurred at a shop in Rosscarbery on the November 10.
Shortly after 7.30pm, a man entered the shop, armed with what is believed to be a knife, and threatened staff. The man left the shop after taking some items of stock. No person was injured during the incident.
As part of the investigation, Gardaí from Clonakilty carried out a search at a house in West Cork yesterday and arrested a man.
The man in his 30s who was arrested and has since been charged.
He is due to appear before Macroom District Court this morning at 10.30am.
