Man arrested in connection with Cork city pub burglary

GARDAÍ have arrested and charged a man in his 40s in relation to a burglary at a pub on Carey’s Lane, Cork on the November 19 last year.
Shortly after 1.30am, three suspects gained entry to the bar by damaging a fire exit. They entered the bar and proceeded to take a sum of money and alcohol.
An investigation is currently being carried out by Gardaí in Anglesea Street and on the 13th January a man in his 40s was arrested in Cork city.
He was brought to Bridewell Garda Station and was detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984. He has since been charged and is due to appear before Cork City District Court this morning, 14th January at 10.30am.
