Cork bus window smashed by tree branch
The window of a Bus Éireann bus in Cork was damaged by a tree branch yesterday.

Passengers of the 205 bus got quite a shock yesterday when a tree branch smashed the window of the double-decker bus they were travelling on.

The incident occurred close to University College Cork.

However, no passenger injuries were reported and no significant delays occurred.

In a statement, Bus Éireann said: "A window on the upper saloon of a double-deck bus was damaged after it came in contact with the branch of a tree at Donovan’s Road at approximately 17:15 [on] February 4, 2020.

"The bus was operating Route 205 (Kent Station – CIT).

"No passengers were injured and the vehicle completed the trip to Kent Station with a very minor delay."
