Gardaí have warned motorists, that even though road surfaces may be gritted, you should adjust your driving to the conditions.

This morning, icy roads have been reported in a number of locations across Cork, including Togher, Crossbarry and between Midleton and Tallow.

Driving tests due to take place in Mallow this morning have been cancelled as a result of icy road conditions.

These weather conditions are expected to clear later into the afternoon resulting in a dry, bright day with some cloud and sun.
