Five New Year's Eve events worth checking out in Cork

Whilst mixed conditions have been forecasted for the daytime tomorrow, it is likely that the evening will be cold but dry if you're thinking of hitting the town for the midnight countdown.
Here are five events happening in the city tomorrow night if you have yet to make plans for New Year's Eve.
If you'd rather celebrate New Years a little early and avoid the mayhem later on in the night, Dwyers of Cork, based on Washington Street is holding a New Year's Eve Bottomless Brunch from 12-2pm to say goodbye to 2019 in style.
Their brunch menu offers a wide selection of eggs, granola, waffles and more, with unlimited Prosecco.
Booking is essential.
The intimate Barrack Street bar will be offering a three-course set menu for €40 tomorrow evening.
There will be two seatings, one at 6pm and a later one at 8pm.
Guests will be treated to a Kir Royal cocktail beforehand and a menu which celebrates local producers.

To celebrate the new year, all Fran Well beers will be €4 all day and all night as we ring in 2020.

Renowned soul singer, Karen Underwood will take to the stage of the Bodega tomorrow night singing renditions of classic hits by the likes of Nina Simone, Billie Holiday, Etta James and Stevie Wonder as guests enjoy dinner at the Old Town Whiskey Bar.
Booking is advised and DJ Darren S will be spinning some tunes later on in the night.
Coughlan's Bar on Douglas Street will be buzzing with the sound of retro hits tomorrow night, as Woah! Mama! take to the stage to play a variety of classic hits from the likes of Aretha, The Bangles, Prince, Bowie, and much more.
