Man arrested and heroin seized in Cork city operation
Gardaí have arrested a man in his 20s and seized approximately €3,000 of suspected heroin in Fair Hill.
Gardaí have arrested a man in his 20s and seized approximately €3,000 of suspected heroin at Fair Hill in the city.
At around 9.30pm last night, Gardaí from Gurranabraher were on patrol when they arrested a man for a public order offence.
He was brought to Gurranabraher Garda Station where he was searched and found to be in possession of €3,000 of suspected heroin.
The suspected drugs will now be sent for analysis.
He was detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 and has since been released.
A file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
