GLOW has become a popular attraction in recent years with markets, performances by local choirs, school groups, bands, and light displays.

In 2017 and 2018, over 160,000 people attended events as part of the GLOW Festival at Bishop Lucey Park and Grand Parade.

Whilst it is not yet known what the theme for GLOW 2019 is, previous years have seen ambitious undertakings such as Narnia, and Santa’s Cork Workshop.

Since 2016, GLOW has endeavoured to become more eco-friendly, with food traders using compostable cups and food packaging.
