Watch: Cork special needs school requires a new bus and here's why

Located in Ballincollig, the school caters for children with a moderate degree of intellectual disability and endeavours to provide an individualised service for each of its pupils.
The school set up a GoFundMe page to raise money for a new school bus and the students have created a video to highlight their plight.
On the GoFundMe page, the school outlines that outings play a vital role in the children's education.
The appeal states:
"Our vision is to provide an environment that is exciting, stimulating, enjoyable and caring at all times.
"Central to this is the provision of an excellent quality of education based on the individual needs of each student.
"We support this aim by trying to provide facilities and resources of the highest possible standards.
"A key part of the educational development of our students is the ability to integrate with the local community so that they can learn from each other.
"In order to facilitate these social outings we need a bus that caters to the unique abilities of our students."
The video, which has received a wonderful response online, demonstrates that the children benefit enormously from the practical skills they learn on the bus and how their outings enhance their communications skills.
The GoFundMe campaign, launched earlier this month, has so far raised over €4,000 of the €10,000 target.
