Man arrested after knife-point robbery at Cork shop

Gardaí in Cork have arrested a man in his 30s

Gardaí in Cork have arrested a man in his 30s in relation a robbery that occurred at a shop on November 10.

Shortly after 7.30pm, a man entered the shop in Rosscarbery in West Cork, armed with what is believed to be a knife, and threatened staff. 

The man left the shop after taking some items of stock. 

Nobody was injured during the incident.

As part of the investigation, Gardaí from Clonakilty carried out a search at a house in West Cork today and arrested a man in his 30s.

He is currently detained at Clonakilty Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
