Cork woman comes to the aid of former rugby legend Brian O'Driscoll
Postcard sent to Brian O'Driscoll from Cork woman, Joan.

O'Driscoll's wife, Amy Huberman, took to social media yesterday to thank the kind hearted Cork lady, who signed herself as 'Joan', after she took the time to write a postcard bearing a "tried and tested white scone recipe".

The helpful Cork woman had simply addressed her postcard with 'Brian O'Driscoll, Rugby Legend, Man in Need of Scone Recipe, Dublin 6', but despite the sparse details, diligent An Post workers managed to get it delivered to the man himself.

"Another one if I can’t remember the eircode. Also a recipe for scones from Joan in Cork.

"Thanks Joan for the scríobh and you have gorge handwriting. Will pass on to Bod the Baker," Amy Huberman wrote on social media.

The post has amassed a huge reaction online, with a few followers of Amy's quick off the mark to try out the recipe for themselves.
