The little girl had become concerned for the welfare of Gardaí who are working tirelessly assisting communities and ensuring that government regulations are being adhered to during the crisis.
As a mark of thanks, the little girl called to the station with her father to drop off the treats.
"A father came home from work to a distraught seven-year-old daughter.
"'The Gardaí are helping kill the virus, but what happens if they get sick. Who will kill the virus then?'
"So, his daughter made a lovely thank you card, as Gaeilge, and got her Daddy to drive her to Midleton Garda Station to deliver the card and some of her Easter eggs to help 'keep the Gardaí well'. Heartwarming stuff," Gardaí wrote on social media.
Gardaí also took the opportunity to thank colleagues, families and members of the community for their support at this time.
