Two men were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries following a stabbing incident on the north side of the city yesterday afternoon.
Gardaí received reports of an altercation between two men on Thomas Davis Street at approximately 3.30pm.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene and the area was cordoned off for a technical examination shortly after 4pm.
A man aged in his 40s received an apparent stab wound and another male in his 20s was discovered in a house close to the scene with a number of apparent stab wounds.
Both men were taken to the Mercy University Hospital.
No arrests have been made at this stage and investigations are ongoing.
