Multiple units from fire brigade respond to fire at Cork kennels

Four units from the city and county fire services responded to a fire at a kennel near Killavullen earlier this evening.

Update 10:30am: Mallow Fire Station have confirmed to The Echo that there were no injuries as a result of the fire yesterday evening.

At approximately 5:45pm, the units made their way to the village south of the N72 road between Mallow and Castletownroche.

Two units from Mallow Fire Station, one from Fermoy and a water tanker from Anglesea Street were deployed.

It is not yet clear whether there were any injuries as a result of the fire.
