PLANS have been revealed for the first housing development to be built in a Cork suburb for over two decades.

Developer Calder Developments Limited is building 24 homes in Frankfield, close to Douglas, with prices starting from €369,950 for a three-bed semi.

The Oaks development is described as a “niche” development with homes larger than traditional three and four-bed semi-detached houses.

Funding for the project is being provided by Cork-based CLFS Wealth Management Limited; with Castlehaven Finance providing the overall Senior debt lending.

Calder Initiatives Limited is also actively involved in several other residential development projects in the Cork area with future schemes currently in the pipeline at Carrigtohill, Ballinlough and Ballincollig.
