A Douglas man confessed today to dealing cocaine in the area and sentencing in his case was adjourned.

37-year-old Ian Cronin of 4 Shamrock Avenue, Shamrock Lawn, Douglas, Cork, signed a plea of guilty to charges of having cocaine and possessing the drug for sale or supply.

The charges related to April 5, 2018, at an address at Grangewood Court, Douglas, Cork.

Frank Buttimer, solicitor, indicated that Cronin was signing a plea of guilty to the charges.

On the application of Sergeant Gearóid Davis at Cork District Court Judge Olann Kelleher sent Cronin’s case forward for sentencing at Cork Circuit Criminal Court on April 20.
