In Pictures: Cork Order of Malta crew supporting community during Covid-19
Carrigaline Order of Malta has been supporting the community during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Order of Malta has been out in force across the county of Cork supporting the frontline workers during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Volunteers have been helping during the pandemic by supporting the community and its most vulnerable people.

Crews from Carrigaline were busy doing medication runs, delivering Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for the HSE, shopping collections, and checking in on the elderly in the area last week.

The crew are on standby to assist the HSE and the National Ambulance Service (NAS).

Since the Covid-19 restrictions were implemented, Carrigaline Order of Malta have taken part in 62 community activities by helping those in need.

The unit has also made its vehicles and crews available to the Joint Voluntary Command Centre (JVCC) and to assist the HSE and the NAS when needed.Carrigaline Order of Malta has been supporting the community during the Covid-19 pandemic.
