No injuries but Gardaí investigating after stone thrown at moving bus in Cork city
A stone was thrown at a bus in Knocknaheeny

AN investigation is underway after a stone was fired at a bus in Cork city.

The 201 bus from Cork University Hospital to Lotabeg was hit by the stone while travelling through Knocknaheeny on Monday afternoon at around 5.35pm.

Nobody was injured but minor damage was caused to one of the vehicle's windows.

A spokeswoman for Bus Eireann said: "There were a small number of  passenger on board the vehicle at the time. 

"There were no injuries and all passengers continued their journey.”

Gardai in Gurranabraher are investigating the incident.
