VIDEO: These Cork students celebrated their Holy Communion day in style with some help from their teachers

YESTERDAY was a Holy Communion Day with a difference for pupils of Scoil Mhuire Fatima, North Monastery Primary School Cork on.
Pupils from second class got a special home visit from their teachers to mark the occasion, bringing a 'Holy Communion ' helium balloon and small 'goodie bag'.
All 25 pupils received a delivery, with the balloon and a special prayer included for the 19 pupils who were to receive the sacrament of Holy Communion on Saturday.

Religious ceremonies, such as communions, are on hold due to the Covid-19 corona virus global pandemic.
