Man to appear in court over stolen bike and possession of bolt cutters at Cork hospital

GARDAÍ have arrested and charged a man in relation to possession of a stolen bicycle and a bolt cutters in Cork city.
At around 7pm yesterday, Gardaí from Bishopstown were on patrol in Wilton when they stopped a man, aged in his early 20s, in the grounds of Cork University Hospital.
The man was found to be in possession of a bolt cutters and a bicycle that Gardaí believed to have been stolen.
He was arrested and brought to Togher Garda Station where he detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
He has since been charged and is due to appear before Cork City District Court this morning at 10.30am.
