The virtual Pet Show is for all kinds of pets, from dogs, cats, rabbits and ponies to snakes, mice iguanas and more.

Entry is easy and open to all, no matter if you live in Ireland or abroad - all you have to do is submit a photograph of your pet via the Cork Summer Show's website.

All entry fees from this year's Cork Virtual Summer Show will be donated to a range charities.

This year will be the first time in the Cork Summer Show's history that the event will be run virtually.

"The Cork Virtual Summer Show has been totally focused towards people and their interests, so for the first time we are able to give attention to wider participation and to competitions, one could not run in a physical showground," commented Robert C Harkin, President of the Munster Agricultural Society.

"We are embracing technology to its limits while at the same time ensuring that participants and public all over the globe can not get access to Cork Virtual Summer Show 2020," he continued.

There is also a range of other competitions which close at midnight tonight, including best dressed, children's crafts and baking.
