Fianna Fáil, Fine Gael and the Green Party have agreed the draft programme for Government.
The document will now be sent to the parliamentary parties for a vote of approval.
It is understood that if it is passed, Micheál Martin will be elected as Taoiseach and will serve in the position until December 2022.
It is expected that once this process is completed, a new Government could be in place in ten days.
Earlier today Taoiseach Leo Varadkar confirmed that the leaders of Fianna Fail, Fine Gael and the Green Party have agreed to rotate the role of Taoiseach and when the rotation will happen.
