THE glorious weather is set to hold for the duration of the Bank Holiday, with temperatures reaching the mid-20s at times.
Saturday will be another scorcher with plenty of sunshine.
Met Éireann has predicted temperatures of between 21 and 25 degrees.
The sweltering temperatures will continue into Sunday.
Sunday night will remain mostly warm but there is a possibility of a few isolated mist or shallow fog patches.
Monday is set to remain mostly warm, with the odd light shower potentially breaking out during the afternoon.
With the good weather forecast a potential temptation for people to flout the Covid-19 travel restrictions, Gardaí have moved to warn the public that they will be out in force this weekend.
“We will be out and if people turn up and are not within 5km, you will be told to go home,” said Community Superintendent, Colm O’Sullivan.
