Forty-five new cases of Covid-19 have been reported in the last 24 hours.
It brings the number of cases of Covid-19 reported in Ireland since the beginning of the outbreak to 26,253.
The National Public Health Emergency Team (NPHET) said 33 of the new cases were reported in Kildare, seven in Dublin, and 5 are spread across four other counties.
Of the cases notified today, 77 per cent are under 45 years of age, 31 are associated with outbreaks or are close contacts of a confirmed case, and four cases have been identified as community transmission No new deaths have been reported to the Health Protection Surveillance Centre today.
There has now been a total of 1,763 Covid-19 related deaths in Ireland.
It comes as the latest figures show that 1,569 cases of Covid-19 have been reported in Cork since the beginning of the outbreak.
