THE National Lottery has announced that a bookshop in Bandon, Co. Cork as the location which sold a EuroMillions ticket worth €1 million on Friday. This winner won the National Lottery’s EuroMillions ‘Ireland Only Raffle’ draw, the second such special raffle events held last week, both of which were won in Cork
The €1 million win comes just four days after another lucky Corkonian scooped the same prize on Tuesday.
“What a week it has been for EuroMillions players in Cork, where both €1 million ‘Ireland Only Raffle’ prizes have been sold,” said a National Lottery spokesperson.
“The first was won by an online player registered in Cork, and now just four days later the Rebel County has another brand new National Lottery millionaire.
Meanwhile, the National Lottery has reminded its players that it has reopened its office at Lotto HQ on Abbey Street in Dublin city centre to facilitate top tier winners of €15,000 and above who wish to avail of the prize claim facility.
Prize payments will be facilitated by appointment only.
Alternatively, winners can also still claim their prizes by using the approved postal payment service which was introduced due to Covid-19.
