Weather warning issued for Cork
Further bad weather is on the way for Cork.

A Status Yellow Rainfall warning has been issued for Cork, as well as the other counties in Munster, and Carlow, Kilkenny, Laois, Wexford, Wicklow and Offaly.

Met Éireann are warning of intense and potentially thundery downpours tonight, tomorrow (Thursday), and into tomorrow night which may lead to some further localised flooding.

They have warned that given recent heavy rainfall, more will further elevate river levels and may result in river flooding also.

The warning is valid from 1am tonight for 24 hours.
