More people were waiting for beds at Cork University Hospital (CUH) this morning than at any other hospital in the country.
The latest figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives (INMO) Trolley Watch reports show 19 admitted patients were waiting for beds at the Cork hospital.
This is the second day in a row that the report has recorded that CUH has the highest number of patients waiting for beds.
At the Mercy University Hospital, one admitted patient was waiting for a bed this morning.
Nationally, 102 admitted patients were waiting for beds around the country this morning, with 80 waiting in emergency departments, and 22 waiting in wards elsewhere in hospitals.
