Tomorrow, rain in western areas will spread to all parts by the afternoon and will be "moderate at times", the national forecaster states.
Highest temperatures are expected to reach 17 degrees with moderate to fresh southerly winds.
Saturday morning is forecast to get off to a dry start, however, during the afternoon and evening, there will be widespread showers.
"Some showers will be heavy and there is the potential for some thundery downpours too," Met Éireann has stated.
These showers are expected to gradually die out through the evening, however, leaving sunny spells in most places.
Temperatures could reach up to 21 degrees.
Highest temperatures will be between 15 and 18 degrees with moderate to fresh westerly winds.
Met Éireann has said the last week of July is looking "unsettled and changeable".
