SEVERAL different kinds of tablets were stolen from a pharmacy in Cork by a man who was jailed for four months for the crime yesterday.
Eddie O’Donoghue of no fixed address pleaded guilty to the charge at the first opportunity, his solicitor, Shane Collins-Daly said yesterday.
Garda Bryan Crowley arrested and charged O’Donoghue with carrying out theft at All Care pharmacy, Evergreen Road, Turner’s Cross, Cork.
The crime was committed on October 2, 2019. Garda Crowley investigated the report of a theft from the pharmacy where a man entered the store and exited without paying for certain items, including the assortment of tablets.
Judge Olann Kelleher imposed the jail term which will run concurrently with four months he is presently serving.
