Cork school confirms Covid case

A primary school in Cork city has told parents of pupils that is has a positive case of Covid-19 within the school community.

Scoil Bhride Eglantine in Douglas, an all girls school, sent an email to parents of pupils to make them aware of the situation and the school has engaged with the National Public Health Team.

Those within the school community affected have been informed by phone.

Pupils not affected are attending school as normal today. 

The Echo has contacted the school for comment.
