The opening of The Dean Cork has been announced for November of this year, bringing over 100 new jobs to Cork's city centre.
The seven-storey hotel was designed by Irish firm Wilson Architecture and makes up part of the new Horgans Quay development, with views looking out to the River Lee.
With panoramic views of the city and a rooftop bar, The Dean hopes to provide the perfect location for those looking to explore Cork City.
Speaking in advance of the opening, Bryan Davern, Director of Hotels said: “The Dean is all about fun. Stylish, slick and comfortable rooms packed with everything you might possibly need, spaces for work and for play, great food and drink, brilliant Irish art, boutique gym, music and loads more. It’s got something for everyone, whether staying with us or not.
“We want The Dean Cork to be a launchpad from which to explore the city and make memories.”
The hotel will include a rooftop restaurant with 360-degree views of Cork city, a gym, a spa and function room, known as The Blue Room.
Irish and Cork-based artists are promised to be showcased throughout the seven floors and 114 rooms in the hotel, with over 400 pieces of work from artist predominately from Cork and the Munster area.
The Dean Hotel currently has a location in Dublin, with The Dean Galway set to open early next year.
The hotels' opening in Cork will bring 120 full-time and part-time jobs to the city centre.
