A motorist who was put off the roads for 10 years was caught driving by Cork City Roads Policing Unit earlier this week.
A motorist who was put off the roads for 10 years was caught driving by Cork City Roads Policing Unit earlier this week.
On Monday evening at approximately 7pm Gardaí detected an uninsured car using Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR).
Upon further inspection, Gardaí discovered that the driver was already disqualified for 10 years.

"Cork City RPU detected this uninsured car on Automatic Number Plate Recognition yesterday.
"Using the Mobility Device, Gardaí identified that the driver was already disqualified for 10 years," Gardaí said in a statement posted on social media yesterday.
"Driver arrested and charged to appear before court," they continued.
