A male driver has been arrested following a collision on the outskirts of Cork city on Saturday evening.
"At approximately 5:55pm, Gardaí were called to the scene of a road traffic collision involving two vehicles that occurred in Killeens, Blarney, County Cork," a Garda spokesperson said.
"Two female occupants of one of the vehicles were taken to Cork University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
"The male driver of the other vehicle was arrested for road traffic offences and was taken to Gurranabraher Garda Station before being transferred to Cork University Hospital for treatment of a non-life threatening injury."
The road was closed for a time but has since re-opened.
A garda spokesperson said investigations are ongoing.
