Pictures: Leaving cert students in Cork celebrate results day

Leaving Cert students across Cork received their Leaving cert results today.

This year's exams were cancelled due to Covid-19 and students instead received grades that were predicted by their teachers.

In previous years, Leaving Cert students would have attended school to receive their results, two months after taking part in their exams.

However, in a world of Covid-19, students received their grades online.

Six Christian Brothers College (CBC) students achieved the highest possible marks this year of 625 points, while eighteen more achieved in excess of 600 points.
