A busy Cork road has re-opened this evening following a four-vehicle crash. 

Gardaí attended at the scene of the collision on the North Ring Road at around 6.20pm this evening. 

A Garda spokesperson confirmed that no injuries were reported in the incident. 

Traffic was reported to be heavy in the area for a period earlier. 

"The road has since re-opened," the spokesperson confirmed.
