Gardaí are investigating after a man in his 70s was brought to hospital following an assault in Cork yesterday, October 22.
The incident occurred following an altercation between a driver and a pedestrian on Old Fort Road which is located behind the Castlewest Shopping Centre in Ballincollig, at around 3.30pm
The pedestrian, who is aged in his 70s, was brought to Cork University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
