More than 50 admitted patients are waiting for beds at Cork University Hospital (CUH) this morning.
According to today’s Trolley Watch figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO), 51 people are waiting for beds at the hospital.
It comes as latest figures from the HSE show that there are just three general beds and one critical care bed available at the hospital yesterday.
Elsewhere in Cork, six admitted patients are waiting for beds at the Mercy University Hospital.
The HSE Operations Update shows that yesterday there were no general or critical care beds available at the facility.
Nationally, 259 admitted patients are waiting for beds this morning, according to today’s INMO Trolley Watch.
Of these, 209 patients are waiting in emergency departments, while 50 are in wards elsewhere in hospitals.
