Man (50s) taken to hospital after collision on northside of Cork city

Cork City Fire Brigade attended the scene at the junction of Cathedral Road and Gurranabraher Road.

An Garda Síochána and emergency services have responded to a road traffic collision on the northside of Cork city today.

Gardaí and Cork City Fire Brigade attended the scene of the collision at the junction of Cathedral Road and Gurranabraher Road at 11am this morning.

Two cars collided at the junction of both roads.

One driver, a male aged in his 50s, was taken to Cork University Hospital (CUH) with what are believed to be non-serious injuries.

Investigations are ongoing.
