A court appearance awaits a driver who turned away from a checkpoint in Cork.
Cork City Roads Policing Unit were carrying out an Operation Fanacht checkpoint in Blarney.
Operation Fanacht is a nationwide policing operation focused on supporting public compliance with Covid-19 public health measures.
The driver if a moped turned away from the checkpoint and stopped close by.
It was discovered that the driver had no driving licence or insurance.
The moped was seized and a court appearance will follow.
