West Cork road damaged during floods re-opens

A West Cork road, which suffered significant damage during floods in August, has re-opened.
The Ceim Hill Rosscarbery L8363-0 road was closed for a number of weeks.
Cork County Council said a number of works were carried out on the road - the damaged road surface was removed and a new storm drainage system was installed to replace the existing damaged system.

In a tweet, the local authority said a full road reconstruction and resurfacing has also been carried out and the route is now open.
