Tanora fudge and Murphy's Stout chocolate: City hotel offers afternoon tea celebrating all things Cork

A city hotel has launched an afternoon tea service dedicated to all things Cork including Tanora fudge, Cork Gin Trifle and Murphys Stout chocolate.

Available throughout February, the Cork Afternoon Tea at the Monetenotte Hotel will celebrate Cork’s food culture, from Milleens cheese and Gubbeen chorizo bites to Tanora pate de fruit and Toonsbridge Ricotta cake.

Montenotte’s Celebratory Cork Afternoon Tea will be served in the Panorama Bistro and Terrace, overlooking the River Lee throughout the month of February.

The events is also a tribute to Cork Chamber 200, celebrating 200 years of the Chamber in Cork.

Montenotte Hotel General Manager Brian Bowler said, “Supporting local producers and celebrating the diverse and exciting Cork food culture is something that we are passionate about here at the Montenotte. We are also keen to mark the business heritage of Cork, and this Cork afternoon tea acknowledges Cork Chamber 200 celebrations this year also."
