
Person rescued from the river in Cork city last night
Crews from Anglesea St and Ballyvolane stations of Cork cIty Fire Service rescued a person from the river in the city centre overnight.
Swiftwater Rescue trained firefighters entered the water near Camden Quay and removed the person to safety.
"Great teamwork with National Ambulance Service and Garda Síochána to deal with incident," the Cork City Fire Service said.
