Wedding of the Week: When love reached new heights...

LOVE reached new heights when Kelly Linehan and Thomas Donegan got engaged — on top of the highest mountain in Ireland.
Kelly is from Ballyhass while Thomas is from Ballyhooly, where they both now live.
They met at a wedding in 2013 and got engaged on August 5, 2018. Thomas proposed at the top of Carrauntoohil mountain in Kerry.
“It was where we had our first date,” said Kelly.
The couple were wed on August 31, 2019, in Castlemanger church, just outside Mallow.
The men’s navy blue suits with grey waistcoat and pink ties were hired from Morleys. The groom had the same suit with ivory stripes on the waistcoat and ivory cravat.
The bride got her dress from Memories in Cork, while the shoes were from Irregular Choice. Her hair was by Aisling Kelleher and makeup by Ruthanna Crowley.
The bridal party included her two sisters Danielle and Gemma Linehan and cousin Marie Sadler Allen. The groomsmen were Tommy’s brothers, Edmond, John and Conor Donegan. The reception was hosted in the Radisson Blu, Little Island.
Blarney Cars provided the wedding car, Thomas’ mum Juliana made the cake, which had a silhouette of Carrauntoohil on the side. Flowers were by Gretta Kenny of Forget Me Not Florist in Mallow, Thomas’s aunt, who did an amazing job.
Ian Hendrick was the band while Djs were were Dan and Brian from Mallow.
As to the best part of the day?
“Walking up the aisle and having all our family and friends there.”
John Sexton was the photographer, while Oliver Jordan was the videographer.
