Crest Solutions join forces with partner companies

Frank Madden, Crest Solutions CEO.

HAVING enjoyed considerable business success since its foundation in 1998, by offering innovative solutions and support to clients in the regulated packaging industries, Cork based Crest Solutions, winner of the Cork Chamber Large Company of the Year 2020, and now employing more than 200 skilled personnel, is pleased to announce that it is now entering into a new era by joining forces with two long-term partner companies — Xyntek and VistaLink — to become CXV Global Ltd to create a single source solution business with a global scale.

This new structure will provide industrial machine vision, industrial real-time systems automation, manufacturing operations management solutions, big data and unified analytics solutions, digital transformation, resourcing solutions, production line efficiencies and serialisation expertise to customers on a multi-site, multi-national and multi-lingual scale.

CXV Global will provide outstanding breadth and depth, and a reinforced capability to offer a standardised service for the design, deployment and support of engineering projects at scale. Employing more than 300 skilled engineering staff, many based in Ireland, who are dedicated to the life science industry and other high-end manufacturing sites, CXV Global are now truly multi-national, supporting sites across Ireland, the UK, Continental Europe, North America and Latin America. This will deliver economies of scale and standardisation of operations that customers can truly value and can depend upon.

Crest Solutions CEO, Frank Madden, explains: “By combining the leading industry solutions of Crest Solutions, Xyntek and VistaLink, we can support our customers in more ways than before and help them overcome challenges in R&D & regulated laboratory, industrial manufacturing and packaging environments.

“As we work to deliver the value of the combined companies, we are equally as focused on accelerating our rapid pace of Industry 4.0 innovation across our Digital Work Instructions, Virtualisation, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality and collaborative robot applications, all backed by the excellence of the project support we provide through our Resourcing Solutions & Managed Services teams. This is an exciting next chapter for Crest Solutions. I am incredibly proud of our domestic and international growth over the past number of years and I am excited for the future as part of CXV Global.

“The current Covid-19 Global emergency is a time of unprecedented urgency and stress for many of our customers, particularly in the healthcare and pharma sectors as they battle to stay ahead of the Covid-19 curve.

“CXV Global continues to work hard in support of our life science partners by providing IT and automation services together with 3D printing capabilities.

“We continue to support production lines around the world to enable them to maintain remote access to their respective sites and we also facilitate live video chat that facilitates effective communications and problem solving solutions as our partners focus on identifying a vaccine and medicines designed to manage or cure the effects of Covid-19 as soon as possible.

“Our new US-based sister company, Xyntek, is producing safety masks free-of-charge that are being distributed to healthcare organisations and frontline workers.

“Through our commitment, technology platforms and effective working arrangements, we are confident of continuing to serve our customers around the globe whilst continuing to offer the highest levels of quality and service.”
