CILT to host health and wellbeing seminar

Gráinne Lynch, vice-president and Southern chairperson, Ray Crowley, at the announcement that the Southern Section of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) are to host a free health and wellbeing in the workplace event next Tuesday at the Clayton Hotel, Silver Springs.

THE Southern Section of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) will hold a free Health and Wellbeing in the Workplace event on Tuesday next, March 20, from 7 to 9pm at the Clayton Hotel Silver Springs.

This event is open to any individuals working or studying in the logistic, transport or supply chain industries who would like to put wellbeing in their work environment as a goal for 2018.

This event, in association with Psyched, IBEC and Everyday Nutrition, Fitness & Wellbeing is another interesting event by CILT that will discuss the benefits of encouraging workplace Health and Wellbeing. On the night, attendees will be introduced to the benefits for both the employee and employer, from introducing the Health & Wellbeing programme.

Speakers on the evening include:

Daniel Flynn, Psyched, Cork Healthy Cities - A Psyched Workplace.

Niall O’Callaghan, Everyday Nutrition, Fitness & Wellbeing - Live your Best Life.

Karen Hilliard, IBEC, KeepWell Mark - Acknowledging Workplace H & W.

By the end of the evening, attendees will be familiarised of the benefits of introducing an employee Health and Wellbeing programme and have some ideas on how to commence their H&W journey.
