It will be a bright start to the day for many areas with some showers affecting western parts of Connacht, Ulster and Munster. Showers will then become more widespread through the day with some heavy and possibly thundery downpours. Windy with a moderate westerly breeze.

Showers will gradually fade away across most areas to leave clear spells. However, Ulster will see showers linger into the night, especially across northern most areas before fading later in the night. Turning increasingly cloudy across Munster by dawn. Breezy.

It will be a dry morning for most with some bright spells for Ulster, Connacht and parts of Leinster. However, through the morning cloud will spread up from the south-west, bringing with it spells of rain, which will be heavy into the afternoon. Unseasonably windy.

It will be a largely unsettled day with sunshine and showers, some heavy and possibly thundery, especially in the west.
